Description

Recommended forPink Fit® Oat Protein Shake is an oat protein-based food supplement with vitamin B that is ideal for women looking to become toned and lose weight.

Packaging: New 400 g tub

Flavour: Peach

Indications: Many cereals, including those containing protein, are generally not considered to be typical sources of protein. Oats are one of the few exceptions, as oat protein is different from other graminaceous plant proteins and is considered to be of a similar quality to other classic forms of protein. Furthermore, in combination with physical activity (body- building in particular), oat proteins bind well with other sources of protein, particularly plant proteins, to promote muscle growth. Also recommended for endurance sports and to improve basic muscle tone.

Oats have one of the highest protein contents of all cereals. Like other cereals, oatmeal contains a protein called prolamine.

Oats contain a specific type of prolamine called avenin. Avenin also contains proteins called globulins which are considered similar to proteins found in legumes.

Avenin boasts many other nutritional benefits such as zinc, iron, vitamin E, magnesium and soluble and insoluble fibre.

According to the World Health Organisation, the quality of protein contained in oats is equal that found in meat, eggs and milk, therefore putting oat proteins at the same level in terms of nutritional quality. This information refers to the beneficial action performed by these proteins in the body after they are consumed.
